THE SOVIET REGIME.
GRIEVOUS ECONOMIC STATE OF RUSSIA. , UNIONS EXPECTED TO GIVE DELIVERANCE. (Received March 2, 9.20 a.m.) ROME, March 1. The Italian Socialist mission to Russia has reported that there is 45 per cent, reduction in the Russian workers’ production capacity, and 20 per cent, reduction in the total production, which convincingly proves the country’s grievous economic condition. The mission believes that a revolution will possibly triumph, and the country be delivered from the Soviet regime through trade unions.
