MATAWILERO STOCK SALE. The Poverty ..Bay Stockbrokers' Association held their usual sale, to-day at the Matawheio s aleyards. There *.vas a fair attendance of buyers. The prices appeared to have a 'rising teudencv. Bidding was fair. A number of large lilies of store sheep changed Imnds today. The yarding included 122 fat sheep, 19 head of cattle and 31 pigs. Up' to the luncheon adjournment the following sales had been made: Fat sheep: Four fat lambs 23s 4d', 28 ewes 19s 6d, 7 lambs 23s 6d. I lamb 21s 6d. Fat cattle: Three (bullocks £l4 Ss, 3 do. £ll, 5 cows £7 ss. Pigs: Two porkers 27s 6d, 2 weancrs 15s. 2 baeoners 49s 3 slips 375. Store ghcep : 205 5-year owes 20s, 170 ewes 5-year 21s, 250 ewes 18s 9d, 62 ewes 17s 3d. 20 mixed' 2-tooth 13s, 5 ewes 15s, 10 lambs IGs, 32 2-tooth ewes (small) 2ls Id, 29 mixed ewes 9s 6d, 59 ewes lis 6d, 38 4-year ewes 7s, 31 ewes and wethers 235, 5 fat ewes 17s 6d, 45 ewes 18s 40 2-tooth mixed sexes 16s 6d, 51 ,2-tooth -ewes 15s 6d, 116 lambs 6s 9d',u 542 ewes 5-year 20s, 298 5-year ewes. 18a 6d, 346 4 and 5-year-old ewes 16s, 238 4-tooth and. 5-year-old owes 21s 6(1,' 124 lambs 135.'i137<2-tooth ewes • lis 9d, 639 4, 6 and 8-tooth owes 21s 7d.
