RECORD YEAR IN BRITAIN. LONDON. Jan. 1. The net capital issued during 1920 in Great Britain amounted to £367,549,000, considerably the highest on record, excluding 1914 and 1919, when the figures wclre swollen by huge Government loans. Over 20 per cent, of tlie new capital is for tlie United Kingdom, nearly 8 per cent, for British possessions, and 2 per cent, for foreign countries.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
