HYDRO-ELECTRICITY.
! (To the Editor of the Herald.) Sir,— Though I acknowledge your! editorial note as fair play, I do not admit misrepresentation. I said the sharnhold- " ers. You claimj the majority as unselfish; I claim the minority commit , the whole. So far as time is concerned I fear were the people married to a private scheme, they would have ample time for repenfcence, and further have the Waikohu promoters giv-en any guarantee whatever in writing as to their charges? You write of a community effort. Waikaremoana is that in its truest sense. Waikohu is a private company and as such cannot logically claim philanthrophy. The thoughful have had sufficient time to think, and I am satisfied the lot is cast in favor of Waikaremoana. I have no desire to further trespass and I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you f<^r your unfailing courtesy and impartial Eelp that I assure, you I appreciate most sincerely. — I am, etc., i ' " : , ■ • ANXIOUS.
