FARMERS' DEBTS.
MINISTER AND MORTGAGEES. SYDNEY/ October 28.— Mr. O'Brien warned the Milliliter for Agriculture in the Assembly that certain* mortgagees 'were foreclosing on clients in the counjtry becaußo.they were unable to meet their obligations, and he urged the passj ing of a short measure to protect the settlers whom the Government had already^, assisted by a State loan: I Mr. Dunn siidthat he had been advised by the down Law Department that a short measure extending the • Moratorium ; Act of 1914 would have the desired effect, and that it would not be so wide as to allow relief _ to ' Keonle not entitled to Jk.
