Light variable winds prevailed over the Dominion to-day with fine Weather, except for passing showers at Bluff. STATE OP THE SEA. A very heavy sea was reported at Bluff, heavy at and Capo Palliser, rough at Cape Maria, Kaipara, Manukau Heads, and Farewell Spit, considerable at Wanganui, moderate at Tauranga, heavy swell at Gisborne, moderate swell at New Plymouth and Oamaru.
