This morning's round was scratchy;, he -was several times off the line and he found the heavy'greens not. to lvis hking. Morpeth was only two to th_ -*ad of him starting m the afternoon, but tbe strain was too gre.it and he took 84 to compete. Kirkwood played many brilliant strokes for his .76, but again putted badly.
