, The cpmbined Young Men's and Young Women's Bible Classes met m tlio Preabyterian school hall yesterday (Sunday) afternoon last, September 12, Mr J. Parlane presiding. Papers ori the subject of co-operation, were read by Mr 6 Duncan and Mr Coles. The urgent necessity of co-operation foV mutual aid and 'for aggressive activity was ably set forth by the \ essayists, N their remarks being endorsed by subsequent speakers. A motion was carried to the effect that a com.mittee.of Bible Class leaders be formed for the purpose of drawing up a scheme of co-operative activity, for the Bible Classes of Gisborne, the Rev. A. W. Stuart to be the convenor. The com-, mittee will be called together at an early, date, to discuss an all-round programme of religious and social activity.
