SOCIALISATION
(Received Sept. 13, 8.50 a.m.) < BERJiN, Sept. 11. .Bolshevist newspapers report that the liquidation of private banks, -begun after socialisation, m February, has now been completed, and shows the assets amount to twenty-eight thousand million; roubles, and the liabilities ,to twenty-three thousand millions. The banks' .holdings of securities and books have been under a single State departmejit with headquarters at Moscow. Credits m. current Accounts of individuals are recognised np to ten thousand roubles, but moneys beyond that' amount have been confiscated as a revolution tax. — A. and N.Z.C.A. ■.•■••■-■.
