' BOLSHEVISTS' £75,000 GIFT. ',- LONDON, .Sept. 10. Tligj'o has been an. astonishing -sequel to the recent revelations in connection with the Daily Herald". That journal announces that Francis Maynell, its director, received £75,000 sterling from the Bolshevists during his visit to Russia in 1919, and still holds this money which the* Daily Herald asks its readers if the newspaper niay accept. If the money is refused it ■will be necessary to double the price of. the newspaper.' The trade,, union shareholders have also been consulted as to whether the £75,000 should be accepted. — A. and N.Z.C.A.
