I NAPIER, last night. ! The Moascar Cup match Paimerston North v. Te Aule. played to-day m the presence of a large crowd of spectators, was won by Palmcrsion by S to 5. Owing to 'a strong wind -down the field the game was played m four twenty-minute spells. Te Aute scored five points m the first spell, a try by Paena, which was" converted by Pine. Paimerston secured eight points m ihe second spell, trieb by Sollltt and Hodder, tho latter converting his own. In the third and fourth spells play was mainly m favor of Te Aute, 4>nt fine, tackling .by Paimerston prevented any score. CHRISTCHURCH, last night. * In the inter-Collegiate tourney, Wellington and Wanganui- Colleges' drew to-day, 8 points each. Tt was an evenly fought match, m which there was little outstanding play. The play was largely coh lined io the forwards, the backs of both colleges giving an indifferent . display. Miller scored two tries for Wellington, one being 1 converted, and Royd and Gilmer scored for Wanganui, one being- converted. — Press Assn.
