HIGH-PRICED RAMS: 4000 GUINEAS PAID.
ADELAIDE, August lis. — It is claimed that the 'i6uu guineas, paid by a South African buyer, fur, a yearling merino stud rsfin at Trttngje lu:s been eclipsed by the sale of a ram sold fur 4000 guineas, which tbe. representative of the South African Government' has agreed 10 pay Mr. A. Colins. of Lucerndale, -JUojint Bryan', for the nierino rain Fealty. Fealty's sire was Loyalty, a - stud ram of pure Peppin blood, bred by Messrs. 11, Collins and Co., and sold to Messrs. J. and A. Hay. of Harggte, South Australia, for 2100 guineas.
