<m TE ARAROA, this day. • A cyclonic gale burst here last night, accompanied with drenching raw. The seas were mountains high. The .rivers are m heavy flood. There is no chance of the mail leaving here for a day or two. . Tlie Awahou just managed to get into Hicks Bay before the height of the ' storm. She and 'the Tiroa are snugly at apchor there. / . Practically all the walls of tbe freezing chamber at Hicks Bay are levlled' to tho ground. Tents have been torn to shreds.
