U.S. CROP REPORT IS OPTIMISTIC IN TONE.
WASHINGTON, July 9.— An Increase of £8,000,000 bushels m the country's wheal crop as. compared with last month, with a total forecast ol 809,000.000 bushels, a prospective com' crop larger than lai^t year's and larger' crops of oats, barley, white potatoes, tobacco, flax and rice, than wert grown a y«ar ago, were tbe features ' of the Government's July oo_. report issued to-day by the department of agriculture.
