The proprietors of the Big F motor service are instituting a number of daily services which should suit the convenience of the country settlers not served by the_ Railway Department! Daily connection by car will be made with Ngatapa as from Wednesday next, and a service between Gisborne, Makaraka fc,. and Matawhero commences to-morrow morning, the time tp which cars will leave Gisborne being announced in another column. Mr T. E. Toneycliffe, who is shortly leaving Gisborne for an extended tour of th§ Old Country, has decided to offer the whole of his valuable furniture and effects, the contents of 15 large rooms, j as well as »hia Napier '•motor car and a t large collection of garden and outside utensils, for sale by public auction.
