It is understood that the British reply to the Russian note threatens to break off trade negotiations if* the Bolsjjievists invade Poland. — A. arid N.Z.C.A. Latest advises from Moscow show that tho successes in Poland have completely restored tho confidence of the Bolshevists and revived their firm demands for ah international recognition of the Soviet. T/lio neWspape'r Prjivda insists on right of the Bolshevists to dictate peace in Warsaw, and virtually to fiolshevise Poland. An article in the newspaper Tzvgstia declares that the. Soviet .is only too willing to deal with Western European Governments on a, footing of perfect equality, and does not accept the dictation of England, who it declares, overestimates her powers, and does not hold tlie full confidence of the Allies.. Kvassin, writujg in tbe -Krasnaya Gazette, says that Russia is quite prepared to sign a general peace on the basis of recognition of the Soviet, and would pnly resume trade thereafter.
