(Per Press Association.) ' ; HASTINGS, this day., ! The death occurred last evening of the Rev. William Douglas, aged 1 83 years, • one of the oldest Presbyterian ministers m the Dominion. He was formerly m charge at Akaroa and at Hokitika, where he was known aa the father of the Presbyterian church m Westland. He was also previously moderator of the northern section of the Presbyterian Church at Kiib'rnie and Roseneath. He retired two years ago. OHRISTOHUrICH. this day.
