! VISIT TO WESTLAND. (Per Press Association.) j HOKITIKA, this day. The Hon. J. Coates is visiting Westland. He reached the coast by way of Otira tunnel. Yesterday, accompanied by members of the Westland County Council, he visited various farms m the district, and received deputations, . local requirements being urged. The Minister was entertained subsequently by the local bodies. To-day, accompanied by Mr Scddon, M.P., he is visiting Kokatahi settlement. To-night he is to be entertained by the Returned Soldiers' Association. Tomorrow, after inspecting a serious river encroachment at Harihari, the Minister proceeds to Greymouth and North.
