Handley Page's improved design, for aeroplane wings has passed official tests and will enable loads to be increased 20 to 40 per cent. It will also permit aeroplanes to ascend and alight within smaller grounds. The improvement can be fitted to any existing wing. It is re-garded-as. a great forward step m aviation, giving th© designers a bigger margin whereby strength, safety and comfort of aeroplanes will be increased. '
