It is understood that the Senate has decided to resume discussion on the Knox peace resolution on. May 10. It is believed an. amendment may be offered m which the Senate will be asked to approve of the principle that the League of Nations is the best means to prevent war, but it is expected the Republicons will defeat this as well as other amendments.
(Received May 10, 9.35 a.m.) PARIS, May 9. Advices from. Hungary state that all newspapers oppose the signing of the Hungarian treaty. Possibly tlie Government will resign.
