WEST COAST SEATS.

(Special to the Herald.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Tlie West Coast correspondent of the : Press thinks that Mr Seddon will have a very easy .win for Westland. He says a -change has come ov«r the scene m the Bolier contest. Mr O'Brien ie making great headway, and the Holland party is growing afraid. The change that has taken place may be illustrated by the fact that a couple of weeks ago Mr Holland's supporters were offering 2 to 1 and . could not place any money. Now there is plenty of money for O'Brien, and Holland's, backers tvil'l now only offer even money, and even that is hard to get. The contest . wi 1 ' be very close, and unless some fresh developments take place Mr O'Brien has a very good chance of securing the seat.
