' Little Misses Nancv Caulton (niece of the j bride) and "Bunty"- Parker were trairij bearers, and looked sweet in pale pink ! silk net frocks, . daintily fashioned, with wreaths of pink leaves' instead of ,}iats. Tlio bridesmaids' bouquets consisted of pink roses, pink - carnations, v and • pink -tulle streamers. The bridegroom was. atteaded by Mr; I Wilfred M. Ingram, of- Napier, as bestman. After -the ceremony the guests ! were entertained at a wedding tea held at tho Gisborne Hotel, where music was discoursed by Vita's orchestra. Mrs. , Caulton ' (mother of, the bride) received i her cuests! being attired in a navy silk costume, •with which warworn a hat of navy touched •with pink. The bridegroom's mother (Mrs. - Hannah v .wore a handsome mole silk taffets costume and a smart toque of peacock blire. The usual tousts were honored, and the, happy couple, who were tjie recipients of a large array of costly presents, left by motor car for Rotorua. where the honeymoon- is to be spent. The bride's going-away attire consisted kof a costume of French Arnuire; and si hat of silver grey, lined with powder blue and 1 finished with a- cltister , of : blue poppies in front. The bridesmaids were Misses Lilian Jerram and Annie and Nona McKenai e (sisters of the bride). All looked pretty in lilac georgette frocks, % with dainty violet belts, _ the skirts being prettily tucked and 'finished with 'small crystal beads. They also ■wore picture, hats to match, with handmade flower*, of shell pink rib.bon and streamers of lilac, each carrying a shower bouquet of lilac and pink sweet peas. Greig and 1 D'Arcv.- Blackburn, After the ceremony at the church the ■wedding breakfast was held <at "Braeburn,": the residence of tho bride's ujpther; ; at Waiohikay where a marquee' was erected>:.on the. lawn dacorated in pale pink and lilac-inauye, , . Mrs. McKenzie received her ' guests, dressed in a black ■cTiarmeuse frock with touches of yiolet, , arid ■a > smart hat to match.' The happy couple, who were the recipients of a wide array of presents and many, cheques, leave for their home at Porangahau. The bride's going-away costume is of grey gabardine,, trimmed with jade green., and black lisette straw hat, with green feather niching.
