: . PREMIER LIKELY TO WEATHER THE STORM. ; lElec. Tel. Copyright- United Press Assn.i Australian and N.Z. rabl« Association.! LONDON, Nov. 27. The Daily Chronicle says that there are imminent rumors of abdication of the King of Italy. Such rumors have often been current since the Caporetto disaster. It is true that his popularity is not greater than, in pre-war times, despite his democratic tendencies and the surrender of the Crown lands and palaces, but there are no signs of an, . imminent overturning of the monarchy. .The .King has often said tha| he 'is •willing to abdicate if it will "promote the people's well-being. The Daily Chronicle states that the | Premier, Signor Nltti, is a strong, cour- . ageous statesman, and is likely to ■weather the storm, but there is no real danger of Bolshevism.
