After two days' discussion the executive^ of the Socialist party passed a resolution defihing tho Socialist victory at the elections as an act of complete solidarity: with the Russian Soviet Republic and am order to the Government to recognise the Soviet executive. They insist that the Socialist group will participate m the opening of Parliament and make an anti-Monarchial demonstration, while a grea*. proportion of the men will go home and discipline will collapse. Socialist newspapers demand the mobilisation of three million peasants and workers who voted for the Socialists and told the hot heads they should reflect/where they are going.
