OREL CAPTURED: PEOPLE WEEP FOR JOY.

'Hie simple people, weeping with joy, fell on their knees with excitement, declaring. "Christ has risen." The troops wore received with enthusiasm. Several thousand prisoners were taken with many batteries and an enormous amount of booty. , General Denekin cut up the Reds in 'Ust and Medvyetskaya, flinging them back beyond Mevyfutchka and taking 1500 prisoners. Another 1100 were taken prisoner in the Upper Don district, where a bat-
tery with gunueirf was captured and turned against the Reds. ' KonovalolFs Don Cossacks, in Kri-j vuchy region, dispersed the Bolshevist j division, taking 3000 prisoners with two heavy and three smaller guns.
