, BRIS^&N& July 25.— The Government steamer Llewellyn, latterly engaged j in carrying foodstuffs from Rockhamp ton [to Ma£kay> and" Bo'wen, has been missing since^uly 17. The trip she was then engaged/ on. /should only have occupied forty jhoprs, <but itis only now-that the fact is made*- public that she has hot reached, her .destination. The Llewellyn •carried .forty tpns of cargo for - Bo wen and stoi'es/fbf'L^ape Capricornia lighthouse. She delr»;ered her stores at the lighthouse *ahd" sailed /for: v, Bo wen ."f That is the last seen of her. A •, close search of. these waters has , since 'been, /made by the steamers Relief and Flinders, but no trace of the Llewellyn has been slighted. The search is being continued.
