The Swiss Medical Association, presided over by Dr. Reynier, •of Leysin, has sent a petition to the 1 Federal Government asking for the ] suppression of all manufacture and 1 sale of alcohol in any foi'iri. ' 1 1 The doctors, who are strongly sup- 2 ported by the population, declare" that I diseases> especially consuihfption, have 1 greatly increased since the war, and I one of the chief factors is alcohol.
