CLAIM OF £7,000,000.

WIRELESS CHAIN CASE

-LONDON, June 30.— The question of the Britain to Australia wireless service arose in the course of the investigation of the Marconi Company's deferred claim for £7,000,000 compensation, following the verdict establishing the Government's breach of contract for not completing the Imperial wireless chain. Mr. Godfrey Isaacs (managing, director of Marconi's) partly based his claim on the large traffic which could be expected from Australia through the Singapore station. Sir Ernest Pollock : Have not the Australians refused to use the Marconi Avirelesß? . Mr. Isaacs (emphatically) : No, I'm sure they haven't. * Sir Edward Carson (counsel for claimants) : Isn't the Government trying to ruin the Marconi Company in every way? Sir Ei-nest Pollock: That is said merely for publicity.
