Mr. Samuel. ■Gompers,. ofthe Federation of Labor, giving evidence' before the Senate Judiciary Committee, V said that .American labor resented tihe prohibition laws. He personally wasY ; apprehensive regarding the results unless the use of light beers was allowed. An anti -prohibitioh demonstration at the Capitol on a large scale voiced Labor's disapproval of prohibition.
