An eminent physician, intervieAved m London, said a World's Medical Congress should be convened to study influenza, six types of which had been recognised during the epidemic. He believed that the German physicians had discovered an excellent treatment for influenza patients. SYDNEY. Feb. 26. At a special Cabinet meeting it was decided to remove all outdoor restrictions iii connection^ with the influenza epidemic. The wearing of masks m the streets will not be enforced, but they must be warn m trams, trains and on ferry boats. The embargo *on racing has been lifted. The opening of theatres and hotels will be considered on Friday. (Received Feb. 26, 12.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 26. Many are out of work, and there is considerable distress as the result of influenza restrictions. The Relief Board has already dealt with over 13,000 cases. Compulsory masking has reduced the tobacconists' sales by fully 25 per cent. (Received Feb. 26, 10.25 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Feb. 26. Eight additional deaths from influenza are reported, making yesterday's total 16. ' . i The Medical Board has dtecided against any easing of the influenza restrictions at present.
