The sea was rough to-day at Tauranga Cape Palliser, and New Plymouth, moa : erate at Gisborne and Napter, and smooth to moderate elsewhere. WEATHER FOREOAST. South-easterly strong to gale at thnes. and backing by south, to east. Expect changeable and 6howery weather. Barometer has a rising tendency. Tides good, sea heavy swell on the coast.
