1 WARSAW, Jan. 7.— Commenting on the alleged slowness of the Allies to help the Poles to stem the tide of the Bolshevists, Ignace Jan ' Paderewski , : who is suggested as the first president of the republic of Poland, denounced . the Bolshevist movement here. As he spoke crowds outside of the hotel windows were still cheering, singing, the national anthem and calling for him, although it was 3 o'clock m the morning, and Madame Paderewski was plaintively insisting that her husband take some rest, saying that lie had been speaking continuously for twenty hours. "The Bolshevist idea is to kill all users of the toothbrush," he said. "If this war is to help mankind Bolshevism must be downed. Otherwise it, is a war c{ hypocrisy."
