IDEALr^TTO DREAMS TRANSFORMED. UNION OF FIVE GREAT POWERS. (Australian and .N.Z. Cable Association) (Received Feb. 19, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 16. Fi'ench newspaper comments on the League indicate that President Wilson, after facing the realities of the European situation , abandoned his plans for an idealistic league ad modified his views to harmonise with those of his European colleagues, especially tlie Fi'ench. Thereby the idealistic dream was transformed into a League of Five Great Powers who conquered Germany and are determined to consolidate their victory into peace.
