He&vy-weight Handicap, 10 miles. — White (Christchurch) 1, Crawley (Carterton) 2. Coleman (Palmerstcm North) 3. Time, 10.5 3-5. South Island Middle-weight Championship, 10 miles. — Haworth (Christchurch) 1, Moffatt (Christchurch) 2, Dawder (Palmerston North) 3. Won easily. Time, 10.14 4-5. Australasian Heavy-weight .Championship, 15 miles. — H. M. Crawley (Carterton) 1, L. Mangham (Otaki) 2, W. Olaringhold (Hawera) 3. Also started: Hinds, Souter, and Brosnahan, all of Christchurch. Won by a quarter of a mila. Time, 14.12.
