The N.Z. Co.'s chartered steamer Ox- \ fordshirc (Bibby Line) • arrived : from Auckland at G.3Q a.m. yesterday.- She was ongaged in loading pelts all, day and cleared lor Napier at '3.lo" a.m. today. ■ The Ayrshire .arrived at. 1,2.10 p.m. from Auckland, and is expected to clear for Wellington on Thursday next. . The Essex is due on the 17th from Wanganui to load ttool at this port. The Ngatoro is due here to-morrow to take a load of 2000 sheep to Lyttelton. The Isabella de Fraine is expected from Auckland about Wednesday next with' a load, of coal. The Arahura arrived from Auckland, via Tokornaru Bay, at 4.35 p.m. yesterday, and was tendered on arrivaL; .; She proceeded to' Napier shortly, after midnight, with the following additional passengers: Misses McLeod"'and Thompson; Mesdames Wilson and Hawkins; Messrs. Bairman, Smith, Corn, and Walker. She • ; is expected here to-morrow morning, and will be tendered at 6 a.m. arid 7.30 p.m. The Kittawa left Lyttelton at, 10 last night for Gisborne direct, and after discharging her Gisborne cargo proceeds to Napier 'to complete discharge of * her cargo. " The Tarawera has been diverted from calling at Gisborne, and Instead calls at Napier to load for Lyttelton. She will, however, visit Gisborne about the end of the week to pick up a load of. sheep for Lyttelton. ' The Te Aroha sailed lor Wairoa at 5.30 yesterday morning. ' The Ripple sailed for Wellington at 4" o'clock on Saturday afternoon. The Awahou arrived 'from £icton yesterday, and galls at' 4 p.m. to-day, for Auckland. j '". -^ The Union steamer Navua sailed from , Sau Francisco on February; Bth for Wellington, via Papeete and. Jjjarotonga. she is bringing a fuU shipment of American merchandise for New Zealand." and is due at Wellington abput March 3rd. The hospital ship Marama, which is being fitted out preparatory to leaving for England, was docked at /- f?ois/ Chalmers on Tuesday. Her null is still'painted white, but the green hull band and red crosses which hitherto n*ve characterised her as a hospital steamer are now discarded. ■ ',:-;'
