HITCH AT HUNTLY.

il»er Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, last night. The miners at the Extended coal mine at Huntly r'efused to work this morning, claiming that there were not sufficient empty trucks for a full day's work. The employers discussed the position, when it was stated that the Railway Department was responsible for the inadequate supply of trucks. It was therefore decided to telegraph to the Minister regarding the matter. The Union was not blamed in any way for its action. It is hoped that enough trucks will be available to enable work; to be resumed to-morrow. *
