MINISTERIAL MOVEMENTS.
(Special to toe Herald.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Acting-Premier, Sir James Allen, returns to Wedlingttin on Sunday morning next by the Lyttelton ferry steamer to meet the members of the French Mission here on Monday, and he leaves with them the same day for the South Island. The Mission will spend a few days m the South Island, and then return to Wellington for a short stay before leaving the Dominion. On Tuesday the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. G. W. Russell, Avas m Ministerial solitude at Parliament Buildings. AIL his colleagues had sped from the city, some North, some South, some to meet the French Mission, and some not. Mr. Russell left to-day for the North, where he will have at least a fortnight's holiday. Probably his place us lonely watohman on the Ministerial tower m Wellington will be taken by the Hon. Mr. Guthrie for a day for two.
