(Robb) Young, severely wounded m Palestine, was a well-known Mount Cook guide. He enlisted with William Brass, the other prominent, guide, at the outbreak of the war. Brass was killed iv the landing at Gallipoli, but Young had been with the mounted forces ever since. (Special to the Herald.) WELLINGTON, this day. Wounded, not severe, October Ist: Pte. Sidney Oxenham (F. Oxenham, Makauri); 2nd-Lieut. C. N. Devery (Mrs. E. Devery, Gisborne, mother). Wounded, admitted to hospital, Sept. 30th: Pte. Herbert Kelly (Mrs. J. Scanlon, Rangi street, Gisborne, sister). Hospital and progress report:— Dangerously ill, Pte. W. McLeofl; not severe cases. Corporal H. Finn, ptes. E. g. crawforth, K. g. McDonald, ana w. H. Peverai. - ___. _, Word was received to-day, intimating that Rifleman William Milligan has made the supreme sacrifice. Wounded on .October sth, he died of wounds on the 12th inst. A brother of Mr. James Milligan, of Mangapapa, Rifleman MUligan left Gisborne with the 31st Reinforcements. He was 41 years of age, and leaves a widow and two small children, who are returning trom south m 'th© course of a few days.
