The Auckland Rugby Union resolved to ask the New- Zealand Rugby Union to call a meeting of delegates as -soon-' as possible to consider notices of motion from the Auckland Union m connection with alterations and additions to the rules of the New Zealand Rugby Football r.'lffnioi^ ' These provide for BUch modification of rules as may be deemed desirable m the interests of, the game ; to delete rule 32, an<3 makp tie decision of the Appeal Committee final, an addi- ' tion to rule 37, making all suspensions inoperative, pending the decision of any appeal; to delte rule 47, and substitute : "Should any alteration, or modification) be agreed to it shall •■ be forwarded' to the English Rugby Football Union;" to delete^ from rule 48 the Wordb '•'Rugby EVjotbaiU Uiiion, England," »and insert the woxds "New Zealand Rugby Football Union/
