ANOTHER BIG WAR APPROPRIATION.
THE NEW AMBASSADOR.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Sept. 19, 2.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 18. Estimates for seven billion dollars were submitted, covering military establishment for the financial year, including 9185 millions for armament. This appropriation is additional to the 18 billions already provided. Mr. "John W. Davies, Weßt Virginia Solicitor-General, has been selected to succeed Ambassador Page m London.
