JAPANESE ON THE AMUR.
FIGHTING ON CSURI FRONT. (Reuter's Telegram.) (Received August 21, 8.50 a.m.) VLADIVOSTOCK, Aug. 20. A contingent of Japanese marines has disembarked on the Amur for the pur pose of protecting nationals. Fierce fighting has occurred between the Czecho-Slovaks and Bolsheviki on the Usuri front, and resulted in the re tirement of the Czecho-Slovak outposts.
