At the Matawhero yards to-day, the weekly live stock sale was held by tho Stockbrokers' Association. Thero was a
poor attendance. The yarding was fair^excepting m pigs' and fSt- cattle.' trices were about as usual, the following being realised up till the luncheon adjournment : — Fat sheep: 5 hoggets 16s 9d, 41 ewes 23s 6d,-- 63 < ewes 24s 10d, 108 wethers 31s, 178 dwes 275, 17 ewes 23a 6d, 34 hoggets 19s. , Fat cattle (6 yarded, all sold) : cow, Shorthorn, light, £12; 1 bullock, Shorthorn, fair, £12; 4 heifers, Hereford cross, light., £9. 10s. v. i Pigs (4 yarded and sold).: 2 porkers, good, £2 3s 6d.j 2 porkers, ' fair, 27s 6d.
