FOURTEEN SHIPS SUNK.

(Received June 8. 10 25 a:m.) NEW YORK, June 7. Altogether fourteen ships have besn sunk, with a tonnage of twenty thousand.
A new feature is the sinking of a neutral vessel, the Norwegian steamer Edisvpld off Virginia Cape on Tuesday evening. , The captain of the French steamer Radioline reports that a U-boat opened fire at long range. The Radioline tried to mask the approach of an American destroyer, but the U-boat saw the warship and submerged. Qne U-boat was lying alongside a schooner when sighted.
It is reported that ten mines- have been picked up off Delaware Cape. It is believed that U-151 and U-37 are heading southwards.
The total number of | ' people missing from the Carolina is 25.
There is no trace of the crew of the schooner Desauss, which , was . found /derelict.
