MAIN OBJECTS GREATLY FULFILLED. ATTACKS BY ARAB FORCE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, May 18. A Palestine official report says : — King Hedjaz's Arab forces raided a station and post on the Hedjaz railway and killed 30 and took 40 prisoners, and demolished several miles of track and three bridges. They also attacked the defences about Maam taking 124 prisoners. A high .military authority, in a statement to-day, said General AHeiiby's main object had been very greatly fulfilled. There was no intention to occupy much country east of the Jordan, but merely to ease the situation for the Arabs down south in smashing up the Hedjaz railway.
