LONDON, May 4. . General Sir William Robertson's warning, that it would be a long war yet, is .commented on m London as timely. It is pointed out that one reason why America's intervention cannot be. made active sooner than stated is because she made arrangements for intervention on an immense scale, as she realised - that a successful offensive against Germany will be necessary to win the war.
