One acre of grass land, ho said; gave 120 gallons of milk, or 12001 b. of food; one acre of potatoes, 11,2001 b. of food as good as milk. Yet, Wis stated, nearly half England, which is capable of cultivation, is at present under pasture, so\vn down m permanent grass.
