NEW FUEL SUCCESSFULLY TRIED' IN PARIS. PARIS, March 5. The Auto announces the discovery of a new combustible which contains neither petrol, coal gas, nor alcohol. A trial yesterday gave most favorable results. A motor car, carrying six persons, made a tour of Calais, climbing the steepest hills without the least mishap. This new fuel is secured by the distillation of coal, and all the by-products will be available for the preparation of nitro-oxplosives. 1 The new fuel doea not foul the cylinders nor leave a residue' of carbon, and the consumption is less by two volumes than that of petrol. The oder is similar to that of woodpftring.
