CAPETWON, May 2. General Botha,, m a recruiting appeal to men of wealth,- said : "If you cannot go yourself, send a substitute, and then you will be directly represented m the struggle arid able to share the great personal sacrifices of ; others."
General Botha „ added that arrangements could be made with the substitutes themselves or through the Prime Minister. He opened a list of those willing to send, five, three, or any number of substitutes.
