JERUSALEM WELCOMES ZIONIST
COMMISSION

JERUSALEM, May 2. Reutor'f? Jerusalem correspondent states that the Zionist Commission arrived on April 10, and were accorded an enthusiastic reception. There was a great demonstration at the proposed university site. Dr. Weizmann, speaking on behalf of the Commission, said the people wero most grateful to the British Government for its declaration regarding, the future of the Jews m Palestine. '
Major Ormsby Gore, replying on behaHs of the Government, declared that a prosperous and contented Palestine could only be possible 'by the Jews working m harmony with other groups.
