RAID ON AUSTRALIANS.
CAPTURE OF ENEMY AIRMEN. LONDON, March 26. A raid ori tbe Australian lines, which synchronised with the German offensive, was preceded by a heavy bombardment of gas shells, and resulted m the capture of a number of outposts and a few prisoners. A captain organised a counter-attack, which was dashingly carried out. All the ground which had been lost was recovered. A man on furlough reports some striking aerial incidents, that occurred when a German airman tried to attack one sector. Two Australian airmen, who were flying high, sighted the Hun and swooped down on him, one coming on either side. After the first shots were fired the enemy "kameraded," and the victors escorted him to the aerodrome. "' ' Australians similarly captured a German a few days earlier.
